OWL – Canadian Family
In a past life, with young kids, I was a regular contributor to family publications with monthly columns on family dining, music, movies, computer games – including a stint as Assistant Editor of Today’s Parent Toronto. This piece for OWL (of which I am proud) was a full-on rite-of-passage as a challenged (non-fisherman) Dad teaches his kids how to fish. The photos are mine but – at the last minute – my eldest son’s image was removed from the cover to make room for more type. As he was the’ real fisherman’ of the group, it was not pretty.
Trans Canada Trail
This piece for Parents Canada was one of a series of features done to coax families into the great out-of-doors to enjoy the best country in the world.
